Well, I think I will be doing a series of post about photographers I admire o recently discovered. Today the turn goes to Richard Avedon. Richard was a portrait and fashion photographer, and worked for magazines including Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. His black and white photos are dramatic and theatrical, I love his style. I made a painting inspire by a photograph he made of Marella Agnelli. I'm not a portrait painter, but lately, I'm taking the challenge of painting things I no normally paint, is part of the creative process of an artist, and I like to challenge myself too.
